Celina Zavode, Croatia

Celina-Zavode This small tourist destination situated south of Omis between Stanici and Ruskamen on the slopes of Omiska Dinara is made of two parts.

The tiny old village Celine, up the main road, composed of a couple of stone dalmatian houses offers panoramic view of the sea, the islands Brac, Hvar and the riviera Makarska.

The new settlement Zavode was built closer to the sea and the beaches following the development of tourism in the 1960's,


It's small pebble and rocky beaches are mostly in the shadow of tamarisk and pine trees.

In the vicinity, toward Ruskamen in the east there is a nice beach and in the east in Stanici also a beautiful beach Velika Luka.

You'll find sand beaches in the center of Omis or in Duce.


Accommodation is mostly available in newly built houses and apartments on the steep hill with the views on the Adriatic and the island of Brac.


In addition to the nautical activities, mountain lovers could enjoy long promenades on numerous paths on the slopes of Omiska Dinara that are easily accessible.

Passing through the olive, pine trees and the vineyards in pristine nature you can reach the old road ideal for jogging or biking. It leads in the east to Pisak and in the west to Omis.

In any case there is a beautiful landscape, fresh air and stunning views waiting just for you.


Celine Zavode is a quiet place ideal for quiet and peaceful vacations but in the vicinity of major tourist centers Omis, Split and Makarska where you could find more fun, culture and sport activities.


From nearby Omis, the center of active holidays there are numerous daily excursions to the nearby islands Brac, Hvar and other excursion places.
